VoIP New England Reflector New Home for NWS Taunton SKYWARN Operations....

VoIP Operations for SKYWARN has a new home. Through the assistance of Danny

Musten-KD4RAA, Tony Langdon-VK3JED and Dave Cameron-VE7LTD, the New England

Network is now on its own IRLP reflector and is now known as the New England

Reflector. The IRLP Reflector has 10 channels and will feature the EchoLink/IRLP

cross-link that was utilized on IRLP Reflector 9058.

From the EchoLink side, there is no change on how you connect to the system. You

simply look for EchoLink Node #: 9123 or the *NEW-ENG* conference and you connect

into the system as you've done in the past. On the IRLP side, instead of connecting

to IRLP reflector 9058, you would connect to IRLP Reflector 9123. This is the

channel on the new reflector system that now has the cross-link enabled.

The sysops of the New England Network are pleased to offer this system as a service

to the NWS Taunton program and any other ARES, RACES, SKYWARN and MARS program

throughout New England. The New England Reflector has its own web site and the

link is listed below:

http://new-eng.com

Again, our thanks to Danny Musten-KD4RAA, Tony Langdon-VK3JED, and Dave Cameron-VE7LTD

for their efforts in supporting the New England Reflector and NWS Taunton SKYWARN

Operations.
